ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
 
Vibrant colours, a sense of home and safety, soothing waves, the proposal. This place will always remind me of him.
 It was 6 months after he passed, that I saw these colours over the vast ocean. What started out as an ordinary sunset, slowly transformed into this spectacular moment. A sign from him above. 
He always was and will always be strongly connected to the water, to this place he visited so often. I come here for now, for reflection, for solace. I created this dreamlike seascape as an expression of my connection with Ryan, and our shared memories here. 
But also: To celebrate the loving relationships in our lives, and to treasure the unique places we hold dear, because of them.
